Community Unites: Friends Feeding Friends

COVID-19 has created a lot of uncertainty for businesses with many having to lay off staff, alter how they operate, or shut down. During this extraordinary time we must rally around our Kingston businesses, their employees, and families.

Through the generosity of many donors a fund has been created to help employers provide immediate relief to those they have had to lay off or employees that have had a work disruption e.g., in quarantine, caregiving for sick or children out of school/daycare (due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

The fund will donate proceeds to the Partners in Mission Foodbank to facilitate the purchase of No Frills gift cards.

How it Works

Employers can register their employees whose income has been affected by the COVID-19 virus. If you are such an employer, please start by setting up a profile, then enter the contact information of employees you have had to lay off or employees that have had a work disruption e.g., in quarantine, caregiving for sick or children out of school/daycare (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). We will then reach out to them to distribute the Gift Cards.
